ALPITOUR INVEST IN A NEW LUXURY HOTEL IN VENICE
Alpitour, one of the main tourism operators in the world, after having gone through a very dark period like everyone in the sector, is looking for a relaunch with the inauguration of a splendid new 5-star hotel in Venice. This is the fourth jewel of the Vretreats collection, the luxury hotel chain of Alpitour, after the two in Sicily and the one in Rome. Started in the spring of 2019, the construction of the hotel had to deal with the delays due to the pandemic, but now it is ready in all its glory to welcome the many tourists who hopefully will return to fill the streets of beautiful Venice. The latest hotel in Venice was designed by the Spanish starchitect Patricia Urquiola, who followed the interior design project and the artistic direction. the hotel is located in ca di dio in the site of what was for five hundred years a shelter for pilgrims and women in difficulty. Today, thanks to the efforts of Alpitour, it becomes the scene of a rebirth signed by Patricia Urquiola, an internationally renowned architect and interior designer. The hotel is part of the VRetreats collection, an atelier of exclusive residences with a strong personality and a close link with the territory, structures crossed by art and culture, in a continuum with the surrounding space thanks to terraces, cloisters and gardens. The building was taken over by Alpitour World in 2019 and an investment of 25 million euros was made to give it new life and light.
